Animation Broadcasting
Broadcasting your animations with Maya or MotionBuilder is a simple and quick process. This is a list of essential steps in broadcasting, to edit settings and working with Prelink please refer to the documentation provided on the Lightcraft Technology website.Hardware Required:
- Previzion System
- Stand-alone Computer
- Connection to same network as Previzion
- Prelink Dongle
Software Required:
- Autodesk Maya 2011
- Autodesk MotionBuilder 2010 or 2011
- Maya or MotionBuilder Prelink
Setup In Maya
- Install Prelink
- Turn Prelink Plug-in
- Create Prelink Node
- Add all joints to Prelink object set
- Set FPS to camera speed
- Install Prelink for MotionBuilder 2010 or 2011
- Drop Prelink plug-in into Asset Browser
- Move joints and transforms into Prelink model list
- Set Export FPS to camera speed
- Put IPV4 into Prelink Network Configuration
- Click Online to broadcast
- Load FBX into Previzion
- Find IPV4 Address for Previzion (Go to the System tab and click the About button)
- Put IPV4 into Prelink interface
- Verify Prelink is online with Previzion
- Play animation
