Video Destinations
Video streams, whether live or decoded, can be routed using the Video Destinations panel. This panel lists the possible areas that video can be routed to.
Foreground routes the video to the keyer; it is the default setting for HDSDI 1.
Midground routes the video as an ‘underlay’ to the keyed version of Input 1. This is done in cases where virtual characters are rendered in real time in another application, and sent out through the application’s HDSDI output. If the characters are rendered against a black background, Previzion will key out the pixels with [0, 0, 0] RGB values and place the image just behind the keyed live image in the composite stack.
video_ textures, including those reference by CgFx shaders, are enumerated here.
To use, a given destination is first highlighted. Then, using the drop-down menu, a video source can be assigned to the highlighted video destination.
