Continuing Calibration

After each successful calibration, the focal length slider will turn yellow, indicating that the lens should be moved to match the new target location. In the above image, the new target focal length fraction is 0.050.

Zoom the lens in so that the focal length slider matches the target position, and click Enter. The calibration process will continue for the new lens position.

Continue this process for all 21 focal length steps. After completing the last focal length step, the screen text will prompt you to move the camera to the next focus distance (typically 200 cm).

Next Focus Distance

Move the camera to 200cm, focus the center of the camera to the center of the target, and click Enter. The screen will then prompt you to zoom out to the lowest focal length value to match the target slider position on the screen. The process continues identically to the process for the first focus distance range.

Saving Data

Periodically click Save after several calibrations are completed. If you have not saved before, a dialog box will come up to name the file.

Completing Calibration

After going through all of the calibration steps, click Calibrate again to deselect the button. If the lens file has not been recently saved, a dialog box will come up to let you save the data.
