How Previzion Works

Previzion recreates all of the steps of a traditional visual effects pipeline, but operates in real time. The main steps found in both traditional pipelines and in Previzion are keying, tracking, rendering, compositing, and color correction. In addition, Previzion create timecode-matched metadata files in FBX, Maya ASCII, and simple ASCII formats, for direct integration into traditional visual effects pipelines. These files contain the complete camera tracking information generated on set, including the position, orientation, field of view, and focus distance for each frame of video or film.
